Event Details

To stimulate dialogue and inspire planet-friendly action, Green Community Connections is hosting the One Earth Film Festival 2012 April 27-29 at various venues around Oak Park and River Forest, Illinois.

The fest intends to create transformative opportunities for understanding climate change, sustainability and the power of human involvement. Fest attendees can expect a weekend packed with an intensive “education & awareness punch” in rich, 2-hour stories on film and solution oriented discussions following each film.

Fest organizers looked far and wide for films with interest and appeal for every member of the family. GCC members hope the fest will be a positive and powerful catalyst for helping Oak Park/River Forest and the Chicago-area move forward as sustainable communities and green community leaders.

For in depth information on each film, please refer to Green Community Connections online @http://greencommunityconnections.org/one-earth-film-fest.
